A teenager has been arrested over allegedly punching an employee at a Darwin city business.
Police say two offenders visited the Smith Street venue at 6:30pm Wednesday and tried to purchase alcohol.
When the cashier refused to serve them, the 16-year-old allegedly punched the employee in the face then ran out of the store with a bottle of Coke.
Police and members of the K9 Unit located the teenager who was taken to the Palmerston Watch House.
Charges are expected to be laid today.
