Three youths have been charged over an aggravated robbery in Coconut Grove.
It’s alleged the trio entered a service station on Bagot Road carrying weapons with one member threatening an employee.
The group is further accused of stealing a number of small items before fleeing the scene.
The boys, aged 12, 12 and 15 were arrested a short time later.
They have been charged with aggravated robbery and going armed in public and are expected to face court today.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland says the behaviour is concerning and has no place in the community.
“Strike Force Trident would urge anyone who witnesses this sort of violent behaviour to immediately call triple zero.”
