A 40-year-old woman has died as a result of injuries suffered in a hit and run crash at Berrimah earlier this year.
The pedestrian, who was struck by a vehicle on the Stuart Highway on 12 July, died overnight.
The woman remained hospitalised since being admitted following the crash.
Major Crash detectives are continuing to investigate the fatal crash after charging the driver involved on 13 July.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said “The alleged offender, who was a youth at the time, remains before the court. He is facing numerous charges which will be upgraded in due course as a result of the death.”
The number of lives lost on NT roads for 2022 remains at 47.
